카스텔로 비키오마찌오(Castello Vicchiomaggio)는 1964년부터 마타(Matta) 가문이 소유해온 와이너리다. 언덕 꼭대기의 오래된 성은 지난 1000년 간 그레베 인 키안티(Greve in Chianti) 계곡을 내려다 보고 있다. 와이너리가 보유한 부지는 총 140 헥타르로 이중 34 헥타르가 포도밭이고 나머지는 올리브 밭과 공원으로 운영되고 있다. 와인 생산을 책임지고 있는 존 마타는 IWSC에 의해 '올해의 이탈리안 와인 메이커'로 네 번(1997, 2002, 2005, 2010)이나 선정되기도 했다. 성 안에는 긴 역사를 자랑하는 와인 셀러가 있으며, 레스토랑과 와인숍도 있고 농촌 체험 관광도 가능하다.

Castello Vicchiomaggio is a winery owned by the Matta family since 1964. The Castle is located on the top of a hill overlooking the Greve in Chianti valley and it enjoys over 1000 years of history. The winery extends for about 140 hectares of which 34 are cultivated with vineyards and the rest with olive groves and park. John Matta is personally responsible for the wine production and has been elected The Italian Wine Maker of the Year by IWSC four times (1997, 2002, 2005, 2010). Inside the Castle there are, additionally to the historic cellars, the agritourism, the restaurant and a wine shop.
